August 2020 Large villa - very clean on arrival. Kitchen well equipped big fridge/dishwasher. Bedrooms all modern & beds comfy. Pool area large with sun beds & towels. 2 large outside tables. Doors locked well so felt safe. Very quiet on street. Large parking space/garage.
Areas to improve:
Directions for walking to places like shop
Shower in master bedroom rather than jacuzzi
On advert state car essential. U can walk to Carvoeiro takes 45 mins not a nice walk on road but u couldn’t walk back to hilly & unlit at night. Taxi cost 10 euros.

August 2020 We stayed for 1 week as a family of 2 adults 2 children in Villa Sesmarias. The villa was immaculate, beautifully furnished with everything you could need for a enjoyable stay. Pool area was perfect, plenty of space and very clean. Snooker table in the basement for the kids Was an added bonus. Highly recommend this Villa and we would have no hesitation in booking again.

July 2019 Villa was better than the pictures, pool is perfect for small families
More than enough to do locally without a car, but only 5 mins into the main town in a taxi
Plenty of good restaurants in Carvoeiro, so you wont go hungry.
Would definitely go back
Should also say Amarante provided great services allowing us to use their retail space to store our cases on day of departure as not flying until late. Thank you.

"Excellent villa for families close to Carvoeiro and Ferragudo "
April 2019 The Villa well situated and although in a residential area is not overlooked, is peaceful and quiet.
The Villa benefits from a pool with steps (not ladder) a shallow end of 0.9m and a separate attached toddler pool. Great for families with children.
There is a wealth of space and beds for sunbathing and a separate first floor balcony.
The kitchen is well equipped and the lounge area spacious. TV has a selection of English speaking channels.
Spa bath downstairs is relaxing and bedroom benefits from a huge walk in wardrobe.
Upstairs is similarly equipped. Hardly saw our two girls all holiday!
The games room has a full size pool table.
Ideal for Carvoeiro (5 minute drive 30 minute walk). Pingo Doce supermarket (5 min drive), Continente and Algarve Mall (20 mins drive)
Carvoeiro beach is fab and recommend walk along the cliff walk to Algar Seco.

July 2018 Villa Sesmarias was great, well equipped and perfect for our family (two adults and two children) There would have been room for even bigger family. The area was very peaceful. We had a rent-a-car and it was easy to take trips to beautiful beaches and villages. We also enjoyed the villas lovely outside dining area and barbeque/grill. The owner was very helpful. We had a great holiday and we enjoyed our stay in Villa Sesmarias. We recommend this villa!

June 2017 We have just arrived home after 10 days at Villa Sesmarias, this is an amazing villa which catered for everything, the pool was great and was a bonus as the weather was very hot.
Thanks to Amarante Villas for all your help with booking and the airport transfers, we will definitely book again in the future.

September 2016 We have just returned home after a 7 night stay - 4 adults , 2 children and a baby.
The Villa is perfect. Absolutely spotless and everything you could possibly need was there.The location is perfect, close to Carvoeiro with all the bars, shops and the beach which is gorgeous.The children were so happy in and out the pool all day and were spoilt for choice with the outside seating areas.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and thanks to Amarante for making it so perfect.

"perfect villa close to beach and carvoeiro"
August 2016 Six of us stayed here for 2 weeks in August Very well laid out with plenty of space, facilities & comfort. Welcomed on arrival by the villa manager Mathias, a kind and helpful person.
3 nice clean bedrooms and 3 good bathrooms and a lovely and very special pool. It proved a good base for the local area and close to the main bus routes. We had a good week and would be happy to recommend to any family of similar size.

"fab pool, great area and stunning beaches"
July 2016 Just returned from a weeks holiday and highly recommend this villa. We went as a family of 6 (4 adults and 2 young children). Whilst the resort of Carvoeiro is quite vibrant during the summer months we couldn\\\'t get over how quiet the villa was (and is literally 5 minutes by car from the beach front. The villa itself was really well equipped with everything we needed (including a washing machine, microwave and dishwasher) and with a lovery outside dining area, great for all the family. Having air con was a great feature as it was 35 degrees outside and was lovely to cool off. We all absolutely loved the pool and spent a great deal of time enjoying it and it is perfect for children and adults alike. All in all a great holiday destination.
