Extremely easy to reach (only a 50 minute drive from Porto international airport) this villa is situated 4 kms away from the white sandy beaches of Caminha, a charming traditional Portuguese fortified border town steeped in history, where several battles were fought between Portugal and Spain. Nowadays, this town enjoys much more friendly relations with its neighbour and there is a daily ferry-boat linking the two banks of the river. Standing on a tiny island in the middle of the estuary are the ruins of the fort of Ínsua, built to defend the entrance to the river in the fifteenth century.

The sands of Vila Praia de Âncora (10 minutes away from the villa) extend from the fishing port over to the Âncora river which reaches the coast here after its 15 kilometre descent through the Serra de Arga hills, an attractive natural environment, which features some good walking conditions. This enormous beach experiences some strong Atlantic waves which means high quality surfing. This town is also famous for the variety of good seafood and fresh fish restaurants.

Single storey villa: Fully fitted modern kitchen. Spacious living / dining room with doors opening onto a large wooden decking terrace overlooking the swimming pool and with distant views to the ocean. Twin bedroom and master double bedroom sharing a shower room.

Exterior: Spacious mature garden, sunbathing terrace and lawn. Barbecue area perfect for alfresco dining. The private swimming pool is 7m X 2.5m and the depth is 1.50 metres. Separate annexe with washing machine.

Elegant sun loungers sit poolside where you can kick back, relax and bask in the Portuguese sun.
