August 2023 Superb villa in the authentic region of Meco. We spent a great week with 2 families of 5. House is very convenient and enjoyable to live in. It is very well located at 10min drive from all beaches. Region is beautiful and lot more authentic than Comporta. Highly recommend !

"Nice and luxury vacation getaway surrounded by nature and still close to Lisbon"

April 2022 Perfect vacation villa for familie's or groups of up to 8 people. Very well equipped house with all is needed, super big heated pool, nice sauna and beautiful surroundings. Location is very quite, just a couple of other houses near by, still the property is very private. Lisbon can be seen on the horizon from the terrace of the house, beach is just a couple of kilometers away, however, waves are too big to swim - hence recommend the use of the pool.

Overall, our family had an excellent stay at the villa, service of the house management was very good and responsive, due to the pandemic we had to reschedule twice, but all requests have been met promptly, hence we defenitely will be back.

"Incredible House"

June 2019 An absolutely perfect house. Pictures don't reflect how good the house is. Totally recommend.
Nice rooms, spacey living room and kitchen, semi Olympic pool and a large outside area. Very nice view from the terrace and hidden from the neighbors.

"Peaceful, quiet and stylish"

January 2019 We (I and my wife) spent a wonderful sunny week in early February knowing it might not be the best possible when it comes to weather. But it was mostly sunny, about 15-17 C, but much warmer in the sun. The Villa was heated what is a must at this time of the year.
The Villa itself is more like a home than a holiday home! Decorated and furnished with very good taste. Kitchen is very well equipped, all necessary is there. Firewood was there ready, so cosy to just sit and relax in the evening having a glass of wine. I know, sounds like a commercial text but that is how we felt! We have rented several ones over the years and this is the quality it should be always!
Sauna is not often available but it ceratinly was a nice surplus. Pool was cold (we did not pay for heating) but it was very refreshing to dip in after the heat of the sauna.
The Villa is quite remote, it's a quiet neighbourhood. Likely more lively in the summertime. But it was something we wanted: own peace, no visible neighbours. Even if a bit remote, all necessary services, supermarket, hypermarkets, restaurants are within a reasonable driving distance.
We had a great week and seriously think about returning. Last but not least, our hostess Marina was very helpful, always available and easy to communicate with. Helps the stay enormously.
We are glad we chose Oase Azul!

"Wonderful villa"

October 2017 Everything was just fine and good and pictures did not lie! Host Marina was very kind, friendly and helpful :) We had great holiday, nice weather, great pool, very good kitchen, nothing negative to say!
If we ever go to Portugal again, we will sure take the same villa, and we really hope we will :)

"Fantastic Villa"

July 2017 Villa Oase Azul was as beautiful as described on the website. It is a great place to stay and enjoy nature. You have an amazing view on the sea with extraordinary sun sets. The pool is just great, especially for kids. The house itself is located very nicely close to Aldeia do Meco. The interior is very beautiful and gives you the feeling to stay at home (indeed a very nice home). We enjoyed vacations very much and already booked for next year!

April 2017 A beautiful spacious villa with a beautiful pool. Maintenance of the garden and the house and impecable. The staff on arrival as well as the housekeeper very kind. A kitchen very well equipped. However it would lack a shower that would be more convenient for the elderly.

"Villa Oase Azul"

July 2016 We were very happy to stay in Villa Oase Azul. The view was spectacular, the swimming pool was also spectacular. The house was very good and cosy. The kitchen was good equipped. We were glad with the mountainbikes. The only thing which might have been better were the showers.

"Great villa "

November 2015 The villa is in great condition and is in a brilliant setting, so secluded and private. The photos are true representation of the villa. The kitchen is big and very well equipt. There is ample cutlery and pottery for a large family. The beds are a little hard but we both slept well and the sheets are very good quality. There is a large tv however there are no English channels, we went in November and it rained for 4 days and we had no English tv so that was a big issue. There are also no TV's in any of the rooms and again this would not be an issue in the summer but in the winter when there is no reason to get out of bed it was a problem. The road to the villa is not very suitable for sport cars, pot holes everywhere and some are massive, the road is like this for about 1.5km and after a week of driving on it, it was that bad I stopped wanting to go out. The WIfi is great and we had no issues with it. The villa just needs a really good walk in shower and it would be perfect. The local towns are great and the restaurants are good quality and cheap. The local supermarkets are very small and you would have to drive 30 minutes to find a supermarket with some choice and everything you need. I would suggest stopping on the way to villa from Lisbon in the future and stocking up. All in all it is an excellent villa.

"perfect exept..."

August 2015 the villa is really nice and we spent a very nice week. there is only one trouble, there are no shutters in the bedroom on the first floor.
